Hiring for University Ambassadors is a multi-step process:
Submit the online application for evaluation by the University Ambassador leadership team.
Selected students from the application pool are offered an individual interview via Zoom.
After individual interviews, final selections and offers are made.
Time commitment
To be eligible, you must be able to attend the entire training for your hiring cycle. Training dates for both terms are listed below:
Summer 2025 training: May 5–8
Autumn 2025 training: August 17–20
During the semester, ambassadors must have ability for two of the following shifts per week and for two to three Saturdays per semester. Campus tours typically last 90 minutes, but other work is needed
before and after the tour.
Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to noon
Monday through Friday from 1:30 to 4 p.m.
In addition to work shifts, Ambassadors must be available for a weekly staff meeting throughout autumn and spring semesters. Two meeting times are offered — Mondays from 4 to 5 p.m. or from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. — and Ambassadors can choose to attend either meeting.
